English Language Challenges (en reparaciones)

Good day, everybody!

In this post, i’m going to talk about this subject: the english class. This is a subject that i decide to take to increase my reading abilities and my speaking abilities. In this sense, I’ve discovered a lot of thing that I could do with this language that I didn’t know, this has been something really impressive for me.

I think that this subjet has been a good chance for learn something else about this language, about its grammar, ortography, pronunciation and its tipical uses; a chance to accept and take some english challenges; and a chance to enjoy, enjoy the time that i could spend learning a new language.

For example, I really enjoy to use the blog. I think is a very important oportunity to practise grammar, orthography and my creativity. I’m not very good in this, but i really like to do it. Beside, in this blog I could express my personal opinion in another language, so I have to think too much… If I want to express my opinion in another language I have to be prepared to reject some ideas and convert another one.

An aspect that I need to improve is speaking, my pronunciation… I’m not usually talk in english, and i believe that talk is very important for learn a new language. If i had the chance to talk with somebodty, constantly, in english, I think that I could talk clearly and fluent.

I think that i use the english every day, when I listen english’s music like classic rock, heavy metal and blues & jazz. I sing the songs and I try to singing in a good pronunciation way. When I see a movie in english I try to listening carefully to the characters’ speech… that is an anoother way to improve this language.
This has been my last blog,

My future job?

Good  day,
the post for today is about my future job, i’m going to talk why did i decide to study at the university.

First, i’m studying at the university because I’d like to get a job as a educational psychologist in the future. I’ve taken some curses that tackle these controversial topics; in these curses we talk about theories and practices that provide some resources for the teachers and students for keep in the educational system and try to live in it.

In my opinion, in this educational system needs a lot of professional that watch over the interests of the children, the excluded I have in mind to work in schools or in the educational ministery, principally, work in research that find evidence for the smooth running of the school.

Really, I’m not interesting in a good salary; I just need to survive with the minimum. I’ll choose a school that accept and stimulate innovators ideas and intervention. I wouldn’t like to work in a traditional institution –because I’ve studied all my life in public and traditional institutions-.

If I was in a job interview I will say that I am a focus person, a little introverted, but very hard working. I never surrender and I try to do all that I can before to get some help. I will say that I really love what I’m doing and that I’m always keep a promise. I’m terrible working with another people but if we work like a team, I could enjoy more that experience. I think that I am an autonomus person.

For all those reasons I am really interesting in this major,

I hope that you have enjoyed this post…
see you

Dis-Crime-Nation

In this post, I am going to talk about an interesting concept for social sciences, a problematic and controversial concept because the globalization has allowed the international integration from the interchange of a lot of points of view around the world. I'll talk about discrimination.

Obviously, the people around the world do not always agree –probably, they will never come to an agreement to get one opinion and to make the same decisions-. Due to the variety of cultures, the variety in the way people solve problems depends on the particular visions about how they do things (a global world, a democratic world seems like an utopia). This could be the principal reason because people discriminate.

For that reason, when we think about the topic of “discrimination” we always think about what we need to do to stop it. We can’t always have the same thoughts, but we could try not to discriminate other people points of view. This is an important mission for the educational system, where the people should learn to listen and respect each others opinions.

We discriminate when we don’t listen to others; we discriminate when we exclude another people because of their age, sex, religions, ethnicity, social and economic status. We have to begin to accept diversity, we can’t continue discriminating something because that “something” doesn’t agree with our particular visions, we have to teach values like tolerance, respect and solidarity.

I’m always been functionally integrated in this society, practically I’ve never felt discriminated but I have known people that had been discriminated and I sorrow about that, it’s a shame that people keep doing this practises… I think that this had to stop now, for a solidarity and tolerant world!

Those are principally my ideas,

Hoe Green Are You?

Actually, this is a relevant and controversial topic, because the Global Warming’s theory and its dangerous consequences. For that reason has emerged a lot of friendly practices to prevent and to decrease its effects around the world.

For one hand, these practices we could learn them in our own houses; we don`t have to go to a specialized academy to obtain some information about that. In our personal computer we may look for information to prevent bad practices.

For example, we could incorporate recycling practise in our own habits. I haven`t incorporated this habit in my behaviour. Anyway, there is some publicity that promote this conduct that allow use the garbage and not utilized material for produce new products; we could recycle plastic and papers or glasses.

Another example should be use a bike or a legs instead a car. I always prefer to walk or use my rollers for short distances… but when I go to my university I have to use the public transport because I spend about one and half hour to get there.

For another hand, there is a lot of eco-organizations than inculcate enviromentally friendly practices. I don`t supported anyone, because I’m involved in another organizations and I don`t have any time for this, and I really not interested in something like this. I believe that we have to get worried about the human being before, principally, teach them to safe the enviroment and not try to change or wash our minds.

Finally, I could say that  I haven`t done so much to reduce carbón footprint and I am not proud about that; I believe that is a common experience into my society, the Green style of life is missing in the society, since a simple idea that mention that is more convenient use a bus with one hundred of people than one hundred of cars.

My favourite class

How I said in older posts, I am studying psychology, an interesting career  in its different theory and paradigms, and different in its practise and techniques. I think that this is a strange, mysterious and attractive discipline, like some people who are studying actually this career.

In this career a class that I have considered like my favourite class had been “epistemology”. In all my life, I always had been interesting in philosophy and in the reflexive minds… epistemology for me is “the” conexión between a science or discipline like the psychology and the metaphysical thoughts; this last point make it very important to me.

Some psychologist just practise what they know, just practise their theories but usually they don`t doubt about what they know, about the origins and epistomologies approachs where their theories belong.

In my opinion, this is a damage for our discipline because I think that a really psychologist had to  know abput their own theories and practises in in depth. This idea willprevent harmful, mistakes and confusions with the people who we are working, that should be the last objective and purpose for our like professionals.

Finally, I think that the importance of epistemology in my own life as person and as professional will affect in my  reflection  and in my mind, because I will not accept anything what we think like “true”, if I don’t have any evidence about that…

Live the rationality that don’ forget our feelings

Thanks for reading,
Good luck in your lives.

Summary News Psychologist.

Good evening, everybody,

today i’m going to make a summary aboout a news that i consider interesting, this news is about a topic that we studie in mi career, psychologist. I hope you enjoy it.

Scientits have created a comprehensive atlas of the adult human brain. This map was created form genetic analyses of about 900 specific parts of brains donated.

Seth Grant, who worke don the map, said that this is like the Rosetta stone for understandig the link between the genome and the brain, in that way, how genetic disorders impact and produce brain disease.

Beside, they say that analysis of the cortex revealed patterns (in gene) that corresponded to regions specific roles in the brain.

Actually, the investigators are working under way on donated tissues from both sexes because they want to check how consistent that genetic blueprint.

The scientists describe how they scanned the donated brains and then chopped them into tinyt, tiny pieces. And for every single lump theyu measured activity levels for all the genes in the human genome.

The investigator mentioned, Grant, said that in the future they’ll try to look to connect the genetic brain atlas with other genetic studies or brain scans of abnormal or diseased brains. This because they say “that could highlight genes that play a role in brain conditions and point the way to drug treatments that dampen down or ramp up gene activity”.

Thanks for reading, see you next J

P.S.: The atlas, which overlays the genetic results on to a 3D image of the brain, is freely available for researchers to use online.
